I’ve been trying for a while to run OS X on my PC.

My PC’s hardware includes:

Intel P4 Dual 2.4GHz Processor

Asus PSW-DH Motherboard

ATI Radeon 1950XTX Video Card

4GB DDR 800MHz RAM

And various other stuff like dual DVD-RW drives, 10,000 RPM SATA HDs, and flash card readers that are probably irrelevant.

I’ve been trying to get the Tiger-Flat-x86 software but keep getting nonfunctional versions. (I’m perfectly willing to use legal OS X software.)

I have a legal copy of OS 10.4.0 and a dual 1.25GHz Mirror Door G4. I also have a Sonnet SATA PCI card on order to install in the G4. (I’m perfectly willing to buy another 10.4.? installer)

Is it possible to load OS X on a SATA drive using the G4 then swap the drive to the PC?. I’ve read about the Maxxuss patch 0.3 and removing the TPMACPI.kext extension but don’t know how it’s done.

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I overstated the tiger-flat-x86 problem. I downloaded a 2GB version that boots to the Darwin screen but won’t accept -x, -v commands (I may be doing the commands wrong). I’m not proficient enough to bypass this problem. I’m trying to download other versions as I write.

I’ll explore the demonoid and TPB sites, thanks for the info. While I have experience with Macs and PCs, and experience with running OS X on older Macs via xpostfacto, this is my first foray into OS X on PCs
