tripleBootBomb
I'm trying to install JaS 10.4.7 onto my PC...but osx doesnt seem to be detecting my SATA HD... I currently have an Intel Desktop Board D101GGC, but the chipset is third party (ATI* Radeon* Xpress 200 Chipset). I've read that only VIA and Intel chipsets are compatible thusfar. If anyone has any solutions or suggestions, i'd appreciate your input. Also, would the 10.5.x version support my chipset most likely? Should I buy a SATA->IDE converter? Would that do the trick? Plz help.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35307-sata-problems-possible-solution/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
If you install using VMWare through Windows and during installation choose the ATI.ATA package, you might get things working. Otherwise, should be able to edit the driver through VMWare. After installing and fixing through VMWare, you should not need VMWare to run OSX from your hard drive: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11314 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35307-sata-problems-possible-solution/#findComment-250824 Share on other sites
