Stefanalmare Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 Hi all! I have an Asus P5Q + Core2 Extreme qx9650. The rig is fully functional on Monterey, but I have sleep problem. Doesn't sleep at all. Actually it doesn't sleep in Windows also. I read that p45 chipset has problem with sleep since HighSierra. Any help will be apreciate. The system is going to sleep, but it wakes up immediately. I tried GPRW method but without success. After wake stays in an intermediate state. Green led on, no display, no USB, fan working. Any hint? I tried disabling the LAN in BIOS, and same behaviour. Stefanalmare Posted February 24, 2022 Author Share Posted February 24, 2022 @MaLd0n thank you for your help. I think is a hardware issue or a very bad BIOS implementation on this machine. I tried 2 genuine BIOSs and some modded and I never had sleep even in Windows (so is not a kext fault). If you have another idea pls share.
