So I have 10.4.8 installed. Everything was working fine. I installed Adobe CS2 for mac. Installed fine. Once installed, it lauched the updater. I had to reboot in the middle of it because it hung.

It came back up and finished the updates. Ever since then, Finder won't start.

So I can't get a Termial window, which blows. Nor can I do much about it. Is there a way to see what it's doing at startup?

I think the adobe app is crashing finder.

Any help appreciated.

nothing unusual. I can log in just fine. The dock comes up, but the bar on the top never shows up and I can't launch a finder window.

I think it's adobe version Cue. How can I uninstall an application without Finder? Is there a boot option that I can use a console window?

-S is read only right?
