Partime
So my boot chime works, but it plays before I select the OS. I multi boot both MacOS and Windows. I would like the boot chime to only play if I select MacOS. Is this possible? STLVNUB
Thats the way it works, OpenCore works like a REAL Mac so that is why the Chime sounds before GUI Edited January 29, 2022 by STLVNUB 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/350627-boot-chime-and-multi-os/#findComment-2775921 Share on other sites
Bmju
There is another reason why this (realistically) isn't going to change: On a real Mac, the chime tells you that the machine has just started, and that the Mac is just about to accept hotkeys (for safe boot, verbose boot, enter native boot menu, etc.) For OC, the chime happens slightly later in the boot sequence, but it tells you that the OC has just started, and that OC is just about to accept hotkeys (for safe boot, verbose boot, enter native boot menu, etc.)!!!
