Wenle Z.
your SATA controller does not support in 10.4.8, yet. so, get a old ATA drive and install on it. Rammjet
When the install DVD says to "press any key" or "press F8", go ahead and press F8. At the prompt, type: v- cpus=1 <Enter> If the boot stops again, give us the last several messages on the screen or post a readable photo of the screen. Rammjet
In BIOS, try setting USB to legacy mode or turn it off entirely if you have a PS2 keyboard and mouse. Again, you may also need to type: -v cpus=1 at the boot prompt (after F8) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34735-i-cant-install-x86/#findComment-246551 Share on other sites
