Success install guide - Big Sur 11.2.3 Vanilla - OpenCore 0.6.8 EFI - bcm94360ng m.2 - Out-Off-The-Box

This install guide is for Big Sur 11.2.3 (Apple Store)

 

Whats working - Everything working out-the-box (Vanilla)

You need to download Big Sur 11.2.3 from Apple Store

 

1. Download macOS Big Sur from Apple Store 11.2.3
2. format an USB 16Gb or Bigger
3. Tape in Terminal:
   • diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ "macOS Big Sur Installer" /dev/pathtoUSB
   • cd /Applications/Install macOS Big Sur/Content/Resources
   • ./createinstallmedia --volumes /Volumes/"macOS Big Sur Installer"
4. After completion, use this EFI folder: EFI - OpenCore 0.6.8 - All Working - Latest.zip
5. mkdir /Volumes/EFI
6. mount -t msdos /dev/disk?s1 /Volumes/EFI
7. copy EFI directory provided in this folder
8. Open Finder (/Volumes/EFI)
9. Restart and boot macOS Big Sur Installer

Hi, you can delete the bootstrap folder, it has been deprecated for a while, it is not needed in OC 0.6.8
