OC handing off OK to Windows 10 but then getting a black screen

Hello,

I have a two disks, quadruple boot system based on a Gigagbyte B85M D3H motherboard with an i5-4460 processor and a GeForce GTX 770 GPU (supported oob).

- disk 1 has:

  1. EFI partition
  2. Windows 10 partition (activated)
  3. macOS Catalina partition
  4. Ubuntu partition

- disk 2 has:

  1. empty EFI
  2. Big Sur installer partition
  3. macOS Big Sur partition

I use OC 0.6.0 and :

- Catalina and Big Sur are detected automatically and boot properly with GPU acceleration, deeps sleep, audio, etc. working

- Ubuntu was not detected so I had to manually add an entry in Misc>Entries with the full PCI path and now it boots fine

- Windows is detected automatically but hangs to a black screen after OC hands off to Windows 10: I get the spinning ball for a few seconds and then either a black screen, or the Windows recovery screen if I try again to boot after having the black screen (recovery tool do not fix the boot).

When I select the Microsoft Boot Manager from the BIOS Windows 10 boots just fine.

So, after several days of investigations and trials I have two questions:

  • why isn't Ubuntu detected automatically ?

I have read and tried everything related to Linux in the OC documentation and specifically various values for Misc>Security>Scan Policy and specifically 0 and 0x10F0503 (default + scan EFI + scan EXT file system). SignalAppleOS is set to NO, I tried both YES and NO for SyncRuntimePermissions,

  • Why is Windows crashing to a black screen during boot

I have implemented BootProtect. I have tried to add an entry in Misc>Entries with the full PCI path to bootmgfw.efi (similar to what worked for Ubuntu), I then get a second Windows icon in OpenCanopy which leads to the same behaviour (black screen) as the icon from teh automated detection.

I am running out of ideas to investigate or better fix these.

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.
