bbritton
I have had opencore 0.5.9 running very nicely. But now after restarting it was not booting anymore. Then I noticed in the bios a new #1 boot entry called "OpenCore" (no Nvme drive or ssd associated) became the default boot device. I removed it and put normal boot devices back but upon reboot to bios the "OpenCore" #1 boot device is back. I can boot if I use F12 to choose boot drive and then all works normal. I have reset NVram and that has not helped. Any ideas? Andrey1970
I think at you old Bootstrap.efi, update it. Or set BootProtect=None, but it isn't reasonable. bbritton
Thanks very much Andrey1970 I had BootProtect=Bootstrap. Changed it to none and problem solved. Andrey1970
But you didn't solve a problem with Bootstrap.efi , you simply disable it.
