chrisddie61527
Hey yall, I dumped by DSDT using SSDTime, decompiled using iasl.exe, but I can't find PNP0C09 in the .dsl file. This is on a i7-7500U Kaby Lake chipset. Toshiba Tecra C50-E Laptop. I looked in the system information and there is an entry for "Embedded Controller Version", so I assume Windows can see the EC. I tried to update drivers through device manager, but it is already on the latest. Looked through toshiba's driver support but there is no entry for ACPI drivers. I also tried dumping DSDT with acpidump.exe, still no luck. Any ideas? SSDTTime's output is only one dsdt.aml file Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343579-ec-is-missing-in-dsdt/#findComment-2719330 Share on other sites
rottenpants
Since this is a laptop i think you must rename your Embedded Controller to EC in config.plist (assuming you have PNP0C09 in one of the ssdt's). I just use clover to dump the ACPI files. Edit: I've checked my other laptop (still with clover) and it seems I couldn't find the Embedded Controller in all of the ACPI files too. Interestingly it's a Toshiba model as well, Broadwell generation.
