Runi
HI guys i am slowly loosing my mind over this. I cant wrap my head around what the problem is. I have followed the Vanilla guide as best as i can and i have copied a lot of the information from my SMBios setting in clover to fit in the PlatformInfo inside Opencore configuration. I honestly don´t know where to look, I am not that good :) I am trying to boot from a USB disk, I have clover on the machine EFI but currently it is broken somehow and i have given up on fixing it, so that is why i am trying to build a Opencore EFI. When i boot i am met with this message: OCS: Aborting corrupted config.plist file access OC: Failed to load configuration! I am attaching a copy of my config.plist file so you can take a look. MY hackintosh is based on MSI X299 Pro Carbon AC, Intel i7-7820x (8-core cpu), 64gb Kinston HyperX Predator RAM, Sapphire Nitro Vega-64 GPU and 1050w PSU. Any help is welcome. config.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/342804-aborting-corrupted-configplist-file-access/ Share on other sites
Runi
okey... made a new discovery. Turns out my Clover was not broken at all. I followed a typical advice of keeping the bios up to date and something new is presented in the new bios. I remembered that my mobo has dual bios and when i switched over to the "b" version that was containing the original bios that was shipped with the board, it booted up just fine. So now i know i need to back off a version or two to get back to stable bios firmware. But as it looks still now luck with OC bootloader... will do some more tests. Runi
Hi Download-Fritz. Any change you could guide me on what steps I should be taking to make it "present"? I am struggling understanding this whole Vault business Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/342804-aborting-corrupted-configplist-file-access/#findComment-2710643 Share on other sites
Spiderboy1947
Did you find an answer? I have the same message. I know what causes it. In the config.plist file for the USB boot vault is Optional. I note yours is Secure. So I can boot OK without USB and when I follow he Vanilla guide on Vaults (Postinstall) it directs you to run sign.command which creates 2 files can't remember the names but something like vault.plist and vault.sig. When you run sign.command it should copy your config.plist and attach it to the vault.plist. This part doesn't work with my PC and I get the messages Aborting config.plist file access not present in vault and Failed to load configutration My guess is that the Vault issue resolution in the Vanilla guide does not work. Hope this helps. I know what it is like trying to get help with these issues.
