Abdelrahman Hamed
https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/ssd/client-ssd/MZVLB256HAHQ/ I checked the bios and I don't think there's an option to disable it. Also, it's very hard to open the laptop, I tried yesterday to add the RAM and I couldn't. So this means this hard is not supported? I can see people here already installed it on this hard drive https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/how-to-fix-pm981-in-10-13-3-17d47.245063/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/342130-catalina-stuck-at-applenvme-assert-failed-apfs_module_start1683/#findComment-2704367 Share on other sites

Abdelrahman Hamed
So finally after fighting with my laptop I have successfully opened it and removed my M2 SSD drive, I got this error, this is HDD drive, I also have SSHD drive, do you think it worth changing? the difference in write & speed? btw, I didn't change the EFI Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/342130-catalina-stuck-at-applenvme-assert-failed-apfs_module_start1683/#findComment-2704393 Share on other sites
