Bootcamp Trackpad problem

When I boot up my Macbook into Mac OS, the trackpad works flawlessly for hours.

 

When I boot up my Macbook into Windows XP, the trackpad works fine for about 10 minutes, then it decides to stop working/jump all over the screen/move slowly etc. Its rather annoying as it works fine for 10 minutes, then the only solution is to reboot or wait about 10minutes for it to correct itself. After that it starts acting up again.

 

I installed the latest Bootcamp and used the driver cd that it made.

 

The Macbook is less than a month old and theres nothing stuck on the trackpad etc.

 

The power cord is plugged in. I have nothing else attached to the Mac. Its basically a fresh XP install. Also the keyboard works fine while this all goes on (if that matters).

 

Am I missing something? Thanks =)

after the 10 minutes or so try plugging a usb mouse to check its not windows freezing

It's an issue with the 1.1.2 drivers. A lot of people have been experiencing this, and so far the only solution I've seen for it is rolling back to the 1.1.1 drivers.

Thats probably the only thing I didn't try. I'll do that tonite and see if it works. Thank you.

 

Also the USB mouse thing from the poster above did not work. Windows never locks up, the keyboard always works but the mouse isn't.
