YES! it is still sata 2 Im planning to buy a PCIe which has Sata3 and use that instead. Now, im curious if i have to redo the fusion or it will just set the UUID by it self? For my rig, I use the internal sata 3 and 2 ports, as well as an extra sata 3 card, which is natively supported by MacOS. I’m also having a fusion drive. Over time, I have been switching the disks between all ports without seeing any issues. I even spread the fusion drive with one disk on the internal and one on the external port and still no problems.
