Do I have to drag the kext out and patch, and then drag it to kext utility?
Or patch directly in s/l/e?

Hi, 

 

you can try to patch through Clover bootloader if you use it. Go into Options->Graphics->FakeID and try to boot.

If it works then use Clover configurator to make the change permanent.

NOTE: according following information only starting from HD4000 are supported video cards. It does not mean that it will not work, may be acceleration will not be supported or you have to patch/backport kext.
