projectepic Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 I am running P4 3.0, ECS SiS648FX-A board, radeon 9800XT, C-Media Wave Device onboard sound. currently, OSX boots and runs, sound does not work/is not recognized, and video card is not recognized. if anyone could help me with this i would be very greatful. thank you. projectepic Posted October 10, 2005 Author Share Posted October 10, 2005 ok so I can get my video card to work a little better, good to know, but I don't know HOW, that would be my problem. so far they have no solution for audio and LAN according to that site, also, my hard drive that I have OSX installed on is an 80gb, it sees every bit but it can only use 3.1 of it, whats up with that? it says its "free space"? miranda363 Posted October 28, 2005 Share Posted October 28, 2005 What was your install method cos that could explain the 3 gig partition i.e. if you dd'd an image onto your drive. Suggesion get yourself the generic install dvd and give that a go. it looks like the audio and LAN problems were known, but whether a fix has been found i don't know yet but i'll look into it for you.
