I did a black magic disk speed test and it gives me average read/write speed around 30mb isn't that low ? any help will be appreciated. my info in the signature. ruaxauxi
I encountered the same problem. I realized that the system didn't recognize SATA controller correctly. So I solved the problem by copying AHCIPortInjector.kext into /EFI/CLOVEVER/kexts/Other. I also added AppleAHCIPort.kext. After restarting the system you can see something like below in the Hardware section SATA/SATA Express Intel 9 Series Chipset: Vendor: Intel Product: 9 Series Chipset Link Speed: 6 Gigabit Negotiated Link Speed: 6 Gigabit Physical Interconnect: SATA Description: AHCI Version 1.30 Supported Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/333241-slow-5400rpm-hdd-speed/#findComment-2626235 Share on other sites
