Tried Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 not possible as the packages in the dvd is only for sse3 processors... should get another release... the update you downloaded is only for updating previous releases which already work on your com... however, if you're bold enough, you could try and install it in another com with sse3, in your hd, and replace the kernel with either a 10.4.4 one... don;t know if this will work but in theory it should...
