For some reason it stays at the gray screen with the apple symbol...then this symbol that looks like a no smoking sign (without the cigarette lol) appears any help is appreciated. Rammjet Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Put hard drive and dvd drive on same ide cable. Set hard drive to master and dvd drive to slave using jumpers, not cable select. mchouin Posted November 15, 2006 Author Share Posted November 15, 2006 ok i installed using VMware, but now it wont boot natively...in VMware, it give me an MBR error...and when i boot natively, it stays at "HFS: created HFBT on Mac OS X" (Mac OS X being the partition i installed OS X on).
