safedisc hide (sd4hide for mac?)

I purchased Civilization IV for the Mac. I travel a lot for business and find it inconvenient to bring the CD with me. It uses battery power, is one more item to pack and I am afraid of scratching or loosing the CD. Is there a program similar to sd4hide (windows) that will temporarily disable the safedisc copy protection program.

 

Once again I emphasize - I have purchased the DVD/CD.

Wouldn't it work if you ripped the disc with Toast, and mounted it with toast? Toast mounts discs like real discs :pirate2: Hope that works for ya.

 

Or you can look on Demonoid for a patch, try looking for "Civilization IV v1.61 [9565] Rev A Crack"....

Thanks. I have not tried Toast but have seen it referenced before.

Well, that toast idea would take alot of space, especially if you have 55345E4 games
