ayrton Posted October 7, 2005 Share Posted October 7, 2005 I've managed to get it running on my actual PC, and it ran pretty well, although I don't have the correct sound/ethernet/video card to run it perfectly. I have Microsoft's Virtual PC 2004, and I tried to boot from the DVD on my virtual machine, but I get processor errors (in Virtual PC) immediately after the Apple logo splash. Does anyone have any knowledge about VMware and what I might be able to do to get this running? Well, it's true that the current OS X does not work in the current VPC (not "VC"), but that's no reason to "trash" VPC! It does work in VMWare, however. NRG-753 Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 VirtualPC does not have any SSE support afaik, which is why it's not working. However I find VirtualPC is great for checking to see if your Hard Drive will boot if you mount it to a VPC image. You know when it's working when you see the apple logo (and then the errors).
