systm Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 So, I was playing with a beta of Vista (I know, RTM is out) and set up the extender feature for the media center, expecting it to be the same as the Windows 2005 MCE, but the interface is different. I also noticed that it really just is setup as a remote desktop, so i wonder if there is a way to hack it to use it as such, but on a full scale rather then just limited to media center? Overdriven Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 What do you mean, remote desktop? the Media Center Extender is some executable stored on your 360 when you set it up (look in the memory browser).... It just connects to pull the lists of data and then like fileshare connect.
