Sleep Works, Wake Freezes - X270

Hi all,

I've pretty much managed to get my X270 finally working perfectly.

 

Everything works pretty much except for the fact that I can put the system to sleep both using the menu bar as well as closing the lid.

 

However, on wake by opening the lid or pressing the power button, I'll be greeted with the password input screen (as usual) but I cannot type my password.

 

The Cancel / Guest User button also does not work. If I stay on this screen for a while, I will end up getting the spinning beach ball.

 

From how I can understand this issue is that the sleep seems to also disable/turn off my SATA hard drive. On wake, it doesn't turn it back on and hence, the system pretty much crashes / freezes. Unfortunately, I don't get anything in the logs so I'm not sure what information there is I can work with.

 

I can't seem to work out how to fix this issue. In the mean time, I just can't put this machine to sleep otherwise I'll need to do a full hard reset to turn it back on. It's quite annoying.
