midix
I had a cheap Chinese WiFi dongle marked as EDUP. lsusb reports Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter RTL own network driver website shows empty results, so I had to hunt from third parties. Finally found this one which was known to work with RTL8188EUS but not known for RTL8188CUS: (not sure about the difference, maybe UN is universal and EU for Europe Wi-Fi frequencies?) http://static.tp-link.com/TL-WN725N(UN)_V2_160822_Mac_1475907823890x.zip http://static.tp-link.com/TL-WN725N(EU)_V2_160822_Mac_1475908525444s.zip <- this worked for me, I'm in Europe. and it seems to be working out of the box, no hacks or other kexts required.
