GuitarFa12 Posted April 6, 2017 Share Posted April 6, 2017 Hi, I've installed OSX 10.11.6 El capitan in my HP Z400, and I have two problems: Audio and Firewire. The most important problem for me it's the firewire connection, because in my work I used a firewire sound card. My computer can't detect firewire device, by it gives energy to the device. This is my system specifications: HP Z400 hexacore x5650 12 GB RAM BIOS version 3,57 OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G31) Nvidia Quadro NVS 300 Firewire built-in connection and PCI card. SSD Samsung 850 Evo 500gb And this is my clover files: kexts.zip DSDT.aml.zip config.plist.zip Could you help me please?I really appreciate any help you can provide! El Capitan 10.11.6, installed latest drivers for Mac and not recognize the device. In Mavericks works flawlessly. Any idea? riffrico Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Problem solved. Deactivated FixFirewire_800 in Clover. I think is inyected through DSDT. Works flawlessly. I have your exact configuration and my Z400 works perfectly under 10.11.6. Lmk if u still need help and I'll happily send u my DSDT and clover config. That should do the trick for u later ... bisk Posted September 26, 2017 Share Posted September 26, 2017 Unless you have the HP Z400, my DSDT is of no use to you. Looks to me like you are running a couple of Gigabyte boards, a series 4 w/Core2Duo and 1st Gen i7. I also have a series 4 Gigabyte board running 10.11.6. I have a reboot on wake problem with this one. Mine is a G45 chipset while yours seems to be a P35. Did you ever experience reboots when waking from sleep ?
