I just recently got my Uncles old computer (Sony VPCL222FX). I was running El Capitan on my AMD machine but I wanted to upgrade to Sierra on this Sony machine. So the reason to this post is to know if I should set my UEFI Boot to enable or disable and if I should enable or disable the Intel Virtualization Technology in the BIOS. Thank you. IMHO UEFI initiates your hardware faster (or not every piece at every boot), so it is faster to reach the bootloader. If you want to run VM's on your OS, then you should activate Intel Virtualization...
