tauJMS
Hi guys, To set the scene here, I am using a D-Link DWL-G520+ Rev A3, which is listed in the HCL as compatible, with JaS' 10.4.6 straight out of a successful clean install of the OS. All I have done here is add one line to the "info.plist" file I was instructed to. Now... I followed Rammjet's instructions in http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=0&p=200689 for my DWL-G520+, with a VEN ID of 104C and a DEV ID of 9066. After repairing permissions and all that jazz, I got an error when I next started up OS X. The error is "The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros5424.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update. Any help you could offer would be fantastic. Cheers, and thanks in advance, James Edit: The one other strange thing I noticed is that I do not have the "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist" file. Rammjet
Different versions of a wireless device contain different chipsets. Based on the vendor/device id's you gave, your device is a Texas Instruments ACX 111 54Mbps Wireless Interface. There is no driver solution for that device on OSX.
