awalker89 Posted October 1, 2005 Share Posted October 1, 2005 It seems like ive tried everything to get osx86 to boot but it just wont. I installed it with windows dd onto an external usb hard drive. i can view the hard drive with mac drive perfectly. the os installed with grub, but when i try to boot from bios with grub it says "error number 17". i tried using the chain0 in the boot.ini and that didnt work either, it booted straight to windows. i also tried using acronis os selector and it didnt even read the mac os off the usb. anybody have any ideas?
