PROBLEM:

I can't happen to boot up the JaS OS disc. It's Mac OS X 10.4.7, and I burned it into a DVD. Aftering having placed it into my DVD Drive as well, I tried booted it up. However, if I do it normally, it shows the Apple logo, but no throbber underneath. Entering verbose mode leads me to a certain point before it stops.

If anyone needs screenshots, please tell me. I don't have a camera handy, but I can borrow one.

Thank you in advance for your help. :thumbsdown_anim:

I hate to keep bumping... But could anyone aid me?

I also noticed in VMWare running with two processors causes Mac OS X to fail.

Use at you risk.

1. boot your current osx ( 10.4.6 )

2. make sure that that disk was blessed at one point.

3. from osx, open the install dvd

4. open system folder.

5. open installation folder

6. find osinstall

7. run install

8. install to a disk that once booting, say an old 10.4.3

9. the install will hang at the end.

10. open back up the install dvd, manually install everything but the lang.

11. after man. install. Repair permissions.

NOTE: YOU CAN NOT RUN THIS UPDATE TO THE DISK YOUR RUNNING OFF OF, IT WILL ONLY LEAVE YOU WITH A NONE BOOTING DISK.
