Sorry if I was meant to put this in post install but I cannot actually use my install so I put it here instead. Admin please move if required.

I have just got El Capitan installed on my system. Initially It booted to the installer and installed just fine but I would get a KP on AppleUSBUHCIPCI.kext when booting the install from the HDD. I booted back into the installer and used terminal to remove that kext and that fixed the KP. The issue I am having is that no USB ports work (I cannot even set up OS X) if I boot in Verbose I get  'AppleUSBHostPort :: resetGated: retrying enumeration in 100 ms' appearing repeatedly then I get 'AppleUSBHostPort :: resetGated: unrecoverable enumeration failure after 8 attempts' before booting into the OS X El Capitan language select screen. On this screen I cannot use my KB or Mouse. They are both connected via USB 2.0 so deleting the UHCI (USB 1.0) kext should not affect them. Does anyone have any ideas

NOTE: This system ran OOB (except audio) on OS X Mavericks and Yosemite

My system is a upgraded HP Compaq DX2400 Microtower
Mobo: Pegatron 2A73H (G33 Chipset)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR2
HDD: 250GB HDD (Yes I know 250GB is tiny)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5870
