real_sinjon
I've installed OSX86 a second time on my slave HDD because I have much more space there as the first install was only on a 6.7gb partition and is now too small. I tried going into start up disk from my original installation to change to the new installation, but Start Up disk crashes as soon as it loads. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get my new installation to be the start up disk? PS - My set up is a dual boot with Win XP using the Darwin bootloader. Rammjet
Startup Disk doesn't work on a Hackintosh. Set your new OSX partition as active. real_sinjon
Startup Disk doesn't work on a Hackintosh. Set your new OSX partition as active. Thanks for the suggestion Rammjet. Tried that from Partition Magic in Win XP but still booted into old OSX. Got so frustrated, in the end I wiped 'em both off and reinstalled from scratch on my second disk. So that's ok now.
