malavuran
Hey there. Back in Yosemite, I used VoodooPowerMini.kext v1.2.49 and SpeedStep was working perfectly fine. Before that (Snow Leopard) I used VoodooPState.kext and it was working fine as well. After installing El Capitan, VoodooPowerMini.kext (v1.2.49) didn't work and my CPU is stuck with 2.53 GHz. So I tried differerent versions like v1.2.7 but I got no luck with them either. I use the following kexts: VoodooPowerMini.kext VoodooHDA.kext FakeSMC.kext Disabler.kext AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext (Modified) DummyUSBEHCIPCI.kext VoodooPS2Controller.kext VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext 1 My PC specs: Intel C2Duo P8700 4GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS 1 I'm using patched DSDT with Chameleon bootloader v2779. Please help me. org.chameleon.Boot.plist.zip smbios.plist.zip DSDT.zip 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309099-speedstep-issue/ Share on other sites

mendietinha
already told you in irc... check if hpet, lpc, rtc and aicpupm are loaded using kextstat in terminal. if so, delete voodoopowermini and disabler.
