cgiannakidis70 Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Hi Recently I managed, with the help of this forum, to install Yosemite 10.10.5 in my rig successfully with one minor problem. OS does not recognizes my SATA DVD drive.I mean it does not see the drive at all.As I said is a minor drawback, but i want to resolve it.How can I make the OS see the drive so I can , in future , burn DVD's? cgiannakidis70 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Share Posted September 28, 2015 After searching a lot with google I found a similar situation.The only thing I had to do was to enable AHCI mode to other (3 and 4) controllers in my motherboard BIOS.
