ok i got help from hp and the lady helping said to do this.

boot with the winodws restore dvd and click restore. then type in fixboot and run that through. but i guess windows applied to the active partition which is osx and screwed up darwin. i applied the fixboot to the right partition now but i cant boot into windows. i can only get into osx with the install dvd in the drive. i tried repairing permissions but that didnt help. is there any way to fix the darwin bootloader? thanks for the help

tried it and it still says NTLDR IS MISSING-PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOT

i think i messed up darwin bootloader becuase osx is active and that is the boot loader it would used. i messed it up when it choose to fixboot to the mac partition and not the windows c partition. have any ideas. thanks for the help
