Hi,

I know that distros are not recommended but I think for me it's the easiest way of getting first impressions of Yosemite on my Core 2duo/i3/i5 notebooks.

I have got much experience with usb bootables. Most of the time I am using the simple dd command under Linux or the USB Creator or Unetbootin. I am also well informed how to choose right boot device in the BIOS.

But there must be something special with Niresh Yosemite Images. They work very smooth in Virtualbox but I can't make a bootable USB flash with them (neither with dd, nor unetbootin or Win32DiskImager).

The last attempt was under windows 7 using Win32DiskImager-0.9.5 like described in this tutorial (section " Create your Yosemite Zone USB drive (Windows)").

When trying to boot with such a created usb flash device, the BIOS says "no bootsector found".

Here are the MD5 checksums:

2f65abe96bdadeadc668b5402250c01d  Yosemite-Zone.iso

Thank you!!
