SummerRain
Hi, everyone. I am new to the Hackintosh community. I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum. I apologize for that. I just got Yosemite (Clover) running on my PC with the following spec: CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2695 v2 MB: Asus X79-DELUXE GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC 2GB I was checking the performance of my GPU using CUDA-Z and found out that my GPU is only running at PCIe 2.0 speed (80GB/s = 5.0GB/s x 16). My GPU is PCIe 3.0 and the MB supports PCIe 3.0 as well. What am I missing? Thank you. tom.bridges
Read this and you will understand why. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/performance-chipsets/x79-express-chipset-diagram.html Hint: x79 has no PCIe 3.0. SummerRain
That's for sandy bridge. Ivy bridge does have PCIe 3.0. However, I did further research and know that nvidia disabled PCIe 3.0 due to unstable performance.
