murdoc158
Hey everyone, I've been away for a while. I currently have 10.4.5 installed on my HPa1250n. I was wondering if a newer version finally has support for nVidea cards (6600)? I know it was in the works awhile back but havn't heard anything recently. Also I have a Turtle Beach USB sound "card". It appears to have support, but if I open iTunes or anthing that needs audio the volume slider is always set to zero. If I move the slider up it moves, but as soon as I let go of it, it goes back to zero. Any ideas here? Also is the PIRATEs of the caribbean BAY or other torrent still the best place to get an update? Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30417-few-questions/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
nVidia - nothing relative to support in OSX, but the Macvidia drivers ( http://macvidia.starchaser.org ) can help. No QE/CI support yet. Turtle Beach - here is a posting saying to use the driver on the 10.4.7 DVD: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=204783 The Pirate and Green Demon are your best sources.
