Tax58uk Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hi everyone. I have been trying to install Yosimite on my first Hackintosh project but I am struggling installing my graphics card. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I have a p6t motherboard which I used a custom DSDT from from the internet for my board. All kexts for everything are installed and working apart from the graphics card, My Graphicscard id a Club 3D Radeon™ HD 7870 which I have tried to patch the DSDT as well as edit the kexts before install. I have researched for days now and about ready to give up, so PLEASE someone help! On my 7870 with a blank screen and the cursor after the download. Rampage Dev Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 You don't know what the Card is doing with out a IOREG so stop saying that it is or is not since we don't now any of the Facts. Just because the General ID is located in the kext does not mean his manfucature used that same General ID. Once he Posts a IOREG we can see what is really going on with the GPU. Further to this I have just purchased a Asus R9 290X so I don't know if that will affect anything. I hope to install it tomorrow when it is delivered.
