spyderrp7
I tried several configurations but none could make use of my USB 3 controller. With VMware version 7, USB 3 isn't supported at all. I also tried VMware version 9 and version 11, with OS X Mavericks, and while there is an option for USB 3, whenever I select it, the keyboard and the mouse doesn't work at all. So, the question is: has anyone ever worked USB 3 with any version of VMware and OS X ??? Zenith432
Sure, install GenericUSBXHCI.kext in the guest. Use kext-dev-mode=1 to allow unsigned kexts. I've only used it with built-in keyboard and mouse though. Haven't tried routing any superspeed devices to the guest. spyderrp7
I am not very familiar with kexts. Where do I set the kext-dev-mode=1?
