luminairelight
Hello! I could use some much needed help... I would really appreciate any insight into this issue. I upgraded my Mavericks Hackintosh to Yosemite and I am met with this kernel panic when booting from the USB stick with Chimera: I've attempted to boot using various flags, removing ram, removing the discrete graphics card, removing all other storage drives, peripherals... I don't think it's a hardware issue; I'm on compatible hardware. From what the panic states, perhaps it's a ktext issue... maybe due to FakeSMC? Any ideas on how to proceed?Thank you for any help! Pimentel
Hello Welcome What's your hardware??? And other we give support for Chimera, but tonymac use it and we don't give support for him, so try use a another bootloader: Chameleon or Clover Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302546-kernel-panic-after-yosemite-install/#findComment-2084790 Share on other sites
