guppysb Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Hey Guys, Sorry if this has already been answered on the forums, but I cannot seem to find a solution to the slow performance in Yosemite. My specs: Intel i7 4770k MSI GD65-z87 motherboard 16 GB G Skill Trident x memory, 2400mhz Sandisk Ultra II SSD, Sequential Read 550MB/s; Sequential Write 500MB/s (where I am running the VMs) Windows 8.1 x64 Running VMWare player 6.0.4 I used to run Mavericks with only 3GB of memory and 2 cpu cores, and it used to run like a champ. I have allocated 8GB ram and 4 cpu cores towards Yosemite. When I installed the OS X Yosemite image, it runs sluggish. I experienced the same problem during the beta back in August with beta, and I thought the performance would have improved, but it's running exactly the same as retail. Any suggestions?
