psycamel Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Hi, so far I'm running on OSX 10.8 with no problems, but i bought a new graphics card (Palit GTX 970 Jetstream) because I'm using my computer with windows (for gaming) too. Mountain Lion did it completely well so far with the Chameleon Bootloader, had no problems. I also patched the dsdt file... Now i need to switch to Yosemite and I hope u guys could help me setting it up. Hardware: Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 Gigabyte H77-D3H Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3-1600 CL9 8GB x2 XFX Radeon HD6870 1GB Black Edition (-> Palit GTX 970 Jetstream) Samsung 55" TV Samsung 24" TFT x2 Samsung 830 Series 128GB SSD Samsung 840 Series 256GB SSD Samsung 1TB SATA2 HDD Samsung 250GB SATA2 HDD RME Hammerfall DSP Multiface I already tried the tutorial here on insanely mac, but it doesn't work - when I boot clover from the usb and hit enter for the yosemite installation, nothing happens. If anyone has a similar setup or knows how to proceed, plase let me know. I dont know what features i really need to choose at the clover installer. I also have problems setting up the config.plist because of the new graphics card. I believe the Yosemite USB installer needs an HFS driver that supports symbolic links. Vboxhfs.efi in the newest version of clover should support this. Otherwise do a Google search for hfsplus.efi and use that instead.
