Ukrainian Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Hi there, i've got my Hackintosh installed 3 months ago and everything was ok, but when i try to update it to Yosemith, it goes through a process of selecting hard drive etc, restarts but after a restart i still have 9.5.1 I uploaded system log file in attachments, maybe it can help. Realmabu Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 I had the exact same issue. Didn't find out why, but I found an easy way around it I want to share. I just built an USB installer key and installed from there, following this guide (but actually there are many, like this hosted on insanelymac too). After installation I had my system upgraded to Yosemite, without losing apps or any data.
