Hello,

i have a Problem with my ESxi 5.5 U1 Host and a OS X Mavericks Guest.

I have sucessfully installed OS X Mavericks.

After the Installation  i want to install the VMware Tools. But the VMware Tools Installer

Preflight Check always told me that the VMware Tools cannot be installed because

"a system reboot is required before installing vmware tools"... but a reboot change nothing,

the error still exist...??

Any Ideas ? Is it possible to install the VMWare Tolls manually or disable the Prefilght Check ?

I have had this problem, but after a couple of ESXi host re-boots the VMware Tools installed OK, not sure what changed, other than doing OS X software updates. You could try to install the tools manually, but it would in effect be just the same as using the wizard, i.e. mount the darwin.iso via the CD/DVD drive and run the install package.
