I was hoping that it will improve the About window, because it does for AMD's, but I have an Intel Prescott. Just wrecked it. It just goes to a blue screen with pointer... BTW all my installations were done using a physical hard disk but via vmware, it works perfectly... What made me want to try the patch is reports that AMD users who could not get access to the About window used the patch on 10.4.7... Anyways I will try to fix it myself, but if anyone has a quick fix, will be much appreciated...
