Hi there,

after updating to 10.9.3 my PCI cards are not recognized anymore (Delock 1xFireWireA+2xFireWireB PCI and TP-Link TL-WN851ND WLAN PCI-Adapter), that worked perfectly fine and OOB under 10.9.2.

Unfortunately I was stupid enough to not make a backup before the update (my Timemachine drive has problems as well and I didn't manage to fix it so far).

So, is there any chance to restore the 10.9.2 PCI drivers?

My system:
INTEL Core2Quad Q9300
MSI P45 Neo3-FR P45

Thanks a lot for your help!

Cheers,
Martin

thx for your reply!

I'm not exactly sure which one's the right one, but this here sounds suspicious: IOPCIFamily.kext

But where could I get the 10.9.2 version of it? Anyone got it? If anyone could provide it, that would be fantastic!

And if that's not too much to ask, maybe these other kexts, 10.9.3 update has changed, as well - just to be on the safe side:

System.kext

IOGraphicsFamily.kext

IONDRVSupport.kext

IOPCIFamily.kext

AudioAUUC.kext

AppleBacklightExpert.kext

thanks a lot I'll try this.

But I don't unterstand why to revert (only) the Firewire kexts and IO80211Family.kext. They haven't been changed with the update to 10.9.3...

edit:

I tried both: reverting all the changes 10.9.3 did to S/L/E and just reverting IO80211Family.kext, IOFireWireIP.kext and IOFireWireSBP2.kext. Both didn't seem to help my problem... :(
