sidisido Posted May 26, 2014 Share Posted May 26, 2014 Hello, I have the following Problems, when my Laptop goes to sleep. It's an HP Pavilion dv6-6115eg. It goes to sleep, then the screen gets black, the fans run for 15 seconds longer, and then they also switch off. Then the Laptop is completely quiet and in standyb for a few seconds and then the fans start to run again. If I don't touch it, the screen stays black and after 30 seconds, the laptop again goes into sleep mode for a few seconds and wakes again. I already tried disabling the both network cards. Wireless and LAN, but didn't change anything. slayer2333 Posted May 26, 2014 Share Posted May 26, 2014 Check in your DSDT for Device (GLAN) , then inside that device delete the the line : Name (_PRW, Package ....... Once you clear caches and reboot, you may have instant wake up because of other reasons : e.g. Wake reason = XHC Sinply do the same thing as above for the devices listed as Wake reason until you get rid of all of them. My laptop went in sleep, but then was completely switched off. Strange behavior?
