denial_of_guilt Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 My sata hd works quite slowly sometimes the system freezes. I got quite decent score with xbench (overall score is around 115) but disk test score is really low (around 50). I also noticed that amule uses a lot of cpu resources! My hd is a 250 giga sata2 on a Dell Dimension 9150. Cpu is a pentium D 940. The cpu score is also a bit low (73). Without the disk test i reached 155 points! To make this system boot i changed a setting in Bios (sata - pata combination). I'd like to fix this hd issue, cause it's quite annoying ...
