monkeyhelper
I have a Realtek ALC250 for which the 'standard' AppleAC97Audio.kext wouldn't work. I found this (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=2532) thread where someone had modified the source and produced a working driver. The available kext was for 10.4.1, so I've recompiled it under 10.4.6 and have working sound out. Install as you would via any of the other AppleAC97Audio.kext guides ... I've made it available here - enjoy ! AppleAC97Audio.kext.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/29732-realtek-alc250-driver/ Share on other sites
