Hello internet overlords.  I purchased a edimax nano, have it installed currently, and it shows my networks in it's wireless utility.  However, I can't connect over these networks.  Under network settings, I can see a new interface '802.11n WLAN Adapter' and it simply will not allow me to add it.

Under my system information,  I see the usb drive, it's label as 802.11n wlan adapter, and has the bsd of en3.

Any Ideas?

Further info:

I am using a usb dongle because my wifi card just stopped working one day.  I was looking through forums and someone suggested trying to erase the interface and then add it again.  However, once it got erased, I could not find wifi under the drop down menu of possible network interfaces.

I also had the belkin n150.  I had to do some serious tinkering but it worked....before my wife threw it at my head (long story...).

Thanks in advance!

Hello gsulows,

are your network protected (WEB, WPA, WPA2)?

Which chipset uses this nano WiFi? Alternativly: Which vendor/device id (it's shown in system profiler --> usb devices)?

Best regards
