gsublows Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Hello internet overlords. I purchased a edimax nano, have it installed currently, and it shows my networks in it's wireless utility. However, I can't connect over these networks. Under network settings, I can see a new interface '802.11n WLAN Adapter' and it simply will not allow me to add it. Under my system information, I see the usb drive, it's label as 802.11n wlan adapter, and has the bsd of en3. Any Ideas? Further info: I am using a usb dongle because my wifi card just stopped working one day. I was looking through forums and someone suggested trying to erase the interface and then add it again. However, once it got erased, I could not find wifi under the drop down menu of possible network interfaces. I also had the belkin n150. I had to do some serious tinkering but it worked....before my wife threw it at my head (long story...). Thanks in advance! Alternativly: Which vendor/device id (it's shown in system profiler --> usb devices)?
